
The services at Las Cumbres offer a prevention-based program that promotes healthy attachment and social-emotional development in children prenatal to age 6 and their families. Services include:
- Infant mental health services
- MiHijito/MiHijita group
- Play therapy
- Parenting with Confidence group
- Couple’s counseling and family therapy
- Fatherhood Program
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
- Therapeutic Behavioral Respite
- Safe Exchange/Supervised Visitation
In 2010:
- 245 children received both group and individual services to help them overcome social/emotional/developmental challenges
- 1,144 adults received services to help them better understand how to address the emotional and developmental needs of their children. Services included group and individual sessions (with and without the children), Fatherhood programs to help fathers improve their parenting skills, and Safe Exchange/Supervised Visitation programs to help families coping with high stress/conflict situations
- 440 (est.) individuals in the community received outreach services through presentations and requests for information
