- developing living skills such as meal preparation, shopping, banking, budgeting, personal hygiene, housekeeping, laundry, etc.
- developing and using natural supports
- networking to meet transportation needs
- identifying and accessing resources in the community
- developing and maintaining a social life
- service coordination (case management for individuals receiving support from the state general fund)
- individualized Service Plan preparation and periodic review
- one-on-one instruction
- group activities for educational, recreational or social purposes
- developing decision-making capabilities
The ratio of staff to person served in program ranges from 1:1 to 1:3. The program operates from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at the agency’s Adult Services offices in Espanola.
