Seeking individuals passionate about community building and enjoy working closely with young children and their families. Duties include reaching out to unserved and underserved families in Taos County focusing especially on pregnant women and families with children aged 8 and younger.

Infancy and Early Childhood is a crucial period for families and children to have the support and resources they need to thrive and focus on the developmental and social-emotional milestones that provide the foundation for success across the lifespan. Our Community Health Worker helps link families with needed resources, carries a caseload of clients and provides home visits. The Community Health Worker will also do outreach and presentations about early childhood services available to the community, as well as provide workshops of themes related to parenting and child development.

Key qualities to be successful in this role include: an outgoing personality, great communication and problem solving skills, highly organized and flexible. Must be proficient in data entry and have reliable transportation. AA in early childhood development or related field preferred. Valid New Mexico Driver's License. Bilingual Preferred. $12-$14 per hour DOE. Position is part time 20 hours weekly.


Home Visitor
Confident Parenting Program

Full time Home Visitors needed for Home Visiting Program that partners with families with children prenatal to three years old, to promote chuld development and confident parenting by supporting the relationship among the family, home visitor, and the community. Job duties include assisting families in identifying informal support networks, providing referrals to community resources, providing information on prenatal health, new born care and child development, and guiding families, caregivers and adoptive parents through child development curricula. 

HS Diploma, AA in Early Childhood Development or related field. At least 1 year experience working with infants, toddlers and families. Valid New Mexico Driver's license. Bilingual preferred. Position is located in Santa Fe.

Seeking part-time instructors to help adults with disabilities acquire the skills to complete day-to-day activities.  Responsibilities: Assisting in adequate nutrition through menu planning, shopping, food preparation, and food preservation, as well as exhibiting personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, and dressing), etc. Bilingual a plus.
