Full time Prevention Advocate needed for a Low Birth Weight Prevention Program. Job duties include, but are not limited to providing community and home-based services to expectant mothers. Prevention Advocates provide informational support to community partners and individual pregnant mothers and expectant families. Prevention Advocates promote health birth weight through connecting expectant mothers with community resources both formal and non-formal. 

High School Diploma, AA in Early Childhood Development or related field preferred. At least 1 year of experience working with infants, toddlers and families. Valid New Mexico Driver's License. Bilingual preferred. $14-$16 per hour DOE.

Clinical Supervisor (two positions available)
Behavioral Health Department/Community Infant Program

Two Full time openings for a Clinical Supervisor within the Behavioral Health Department and Community Infant Program. These positions provide clinical, administrative and reflective supervision to program staff, is responsible for program oversight and reports to the Director of Child and Family Services. Independently licensed as a Counselor or Social Worker with experience in infant and early childhood mental health and working with families in home-based and center-based environments. Infant Mental Health Endorsement at a level III or IV preferred. Bilingual/Bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.

Drug screen, FBI clearance and other pre-employment requirements must be met.  Experience working with adults with disabilities is preferred and candidates must be able to meet physical and essential requirements of the job.

Part-time on-call Direct Support Personnel needed in Los Alamos to work with adults with disabilities in a group home setting. Residential Instructors are responsible for menu planning, food preparation, bathing, grooming, budgeting, etc.

 

Independent Living Instructor

Seeking part-time instructors to help adults with disabilities acquire the skills to complete day-to-day activities.  Responsibilities: Assisting in adequate nutrition through menu planning, shopping, food preparation, and food preservation, as well as exhibiting personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, and dressing), etc. Bilingual a plus.
