Las Cumbres Community Services promotes the health and well-being of people of all ages in northern New Mexico.  Our mission is to provide quality services, public awareness, and integrated community supports for children, adults and families facing social, emotional and/or developmental challenges.

Agency direct services—offered primarily in Rio Arriba, Los Alamos and Santa Fe Counties—along with statewide training, education, outreach and referral activities, benefit more than 5,600 individuals each year through a wide range of programs in four core areas of emphasis:

  • Early Childhood Mental Health for children birth to 6 struggling with social/emotional challenges
  • Early Intervention therapies for children birth to 3 with developmental disabilities or delays
  • Adult Services, providing residential, employment and community integration support for individuals with developmental disabilities;
  • Respite and Personal Care, helping families of any individual with developmental disabilities

Las Cumbres is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit agency. All programs are operated on the belief that services should be easily accessible, consumer driven, relationship based, culturally appropriate, and built on individual strengths and natural supports in order to best meet the needs of each individual served.
