This program provides hands-on support for day-to-day living and long-term self-sufficiency. Focus areas include:
Health and safety practices
Problem-solving skills
Community participation
Confidence and self-advocacy
Support activities may include:
Grocery shopping and meal preparation
Laundry and housekeeping
Scheduling and attending medical appointments
Managing medications
Computer use and communication skills (e.g., letter writing)
Independent Living
Supporting Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Provides Intermittent individualized support to help adults build skills for daily living and participate in their community. Services focus on health, safety, and strengthening independence.
Support may include assistance with daily routines, meal preparation, household tasks, money management, and health-related needs. Services are delivered in the home and are tailored to each person’s living situation, including those supported by family or other natural supports.
