FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES

­Services for families who have substantiated or unsubstantiated cases of abuse or neglect, and are in need of support and case management services in order to prevent child abuse and neglect.

Agencies are able to make referrals to this service:

Protective Services (­PS), Juvenile Justice System (JJS), CYFD funded Home Visiting Level II programs, childcare facilities, PreK providers, and others as approved by the CYFD Program Manager

The primary focus is case management and helping families connect and engage with helpful community resources as soon as possible.

Provide in-home parenting support through an evidence-based or evidence-informed curriculum.

Direct teaching and coaching to help parents in their caregiving role.

Monitor safety at each home visit.

INTENSIVE FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES

­Services for families with substantiated or unsubstantiated cases of abuse or neglect who are in need of intensive support and therapeutic services in order to prevent repeat child abuse/neglect and the removal of the child/ren.

Agencies able to make referrals to this service:
