Director of Family Support and Prevention Services
With over 14 years of experience working with children and families, I have built my career around strengthening families, building meaningful relationships, and helping people recognize their own strengths and potential. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern New Mexico College and my Master of Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting families experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, individuals navigating substance use and recovery, and caregivers working to strengthen parent-child relationships while supporting their children’s developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs. These experiences have shaped who I am as a social worker and strengthened my commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.
At Las Cumbres, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve families in the communities that mean so much to me. I believe some of the most meaningful change begins with simply meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and creating a space where they feel heard, respected, and supported. I also value collaboration and the opportunity to support the professionals who work alongside families every day.
