Taylor Janis Joins Santa Fe Community Infant Program Team

From Washington DC to Japan, to Maine, New Mexico continued to pull Taylor back with the beauty of its land, the richness of its cultural diversity, and its mild climate. Taylor has recently moved to Santa Fe for the third time, and he thinks this time will be for good. Las Cumbres could not be more pleased Taylor calls Santa Fe home.

Taylor Janis, LCSW, joined Las Cumbres this year as a clinician and is working with the Community Infant Program and Behavioral Health. Taylor’s values and persistent inspiration to help people makes him a great fit in Las Cumbres’ culture of family-focused services.

“I love being a social worker. I love that I get to spend every day working to help people. There are so many families who are facing difficult situations, and I feel privileged to be there for them offering support, kindness, and love.” - Taylor Janis

Taylor earned his Master’s in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas in 2011. Since then, his clinical work has focused on trauma-informed therapy with children and families. For the last four years, he lived in Maine where he worked with refugee families from Africa and the Middle East. We anticipate Taylor will help many families thrive in Northern New Mexico and we are happy to have him in the Las Cumbres Family.

“I can already see that there are so many skilled, dedicated, caring people at Las Cumbres who are doing great work for children and families. I hope to contribute positively to these efforts and to do my best for the families I will serve.”
