Seniors Day at the State Capitol
Las Cumbres' Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG) Program made a heartfelt impact at Seniors Day at the Roundhouse, bringing community, culture, and advocacy under one roof. With homemade pastries, newly designed t-shirts, and powerful conversations, 14 grandparents—including three from Peñasco—showed up to represent a growing movement.

Las Cumbres’ Adult Day Service members experience the wonder of illusion led by award-winning magician and academic, Dr. Kevin Spencer. With tricks like knot-tying without hands and magical transformations, participants didn’t just learn magic—they built skills in focus, teamwork, and creativity.

Nourishing Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
Our Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program received a “special project” for the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department called New Mexico Grown. Produce from local producers such as the Santa Fe Farmer’s Market and Khalsa Farms are given to our program to distribute to the families of grandparents raising grandchildren.
